Superior Position
An example of superior position is in the movie "The Hills Have Eyes". In this movie, the family was in the middle of a desert and they didn't know that there was monsters in the area that are very dangerous. When the son was walking to look for his dog, we knew that a monster was watching him but he had no idea. An example of superior position in my life is when I know that there is a surprise test for government class and I don't warn my other friends so when we go into class I know that we are going to have a test but my friends have no idea. This gives me an idea for a movie where a dad thinks his daughter's boyfriend is a cheater because he saw him with another girl even though it was for a film. But the father has no idea of this.
Beginning, Middle, and End
I liked the beginning, middle, and end to the movie War of Worlds. I liked how the beginning was very casual and seemed like a normal movie and then out of nowhere the crazy storm comes by and leads into the middle of the movie which is very action-packed and contains misfortune. His son dies during the battle against aliens because of his curiosity and adventurous spirit. The main character's main goal now is to protect his daughter under all circumstances. The end is very epic with a final battle where they won, but he nearly doesn't make it out alive. And he brings back the daughter to her mother and new father and comes to find out that his son is actually alive and that is a happy ending. During my high school time, the beginning I was learning how to become social and adapt to the hgih school-level. During the middle I just worked at school and played ball during my free time. Now I'm coming to the end of high school, so I'm filling college applications and enjoying the little time I have left. i have made amazing unforgettable memories here. This may be an idea to make a movie of an adventure for a person that goes through a lot of adversity and comes out a better man at the end of his journey.

Undeserved Misfortune
3A great movie that shows undeserved misfortune is "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back". The undeserved misfortune was when Jay and Silent Bob get left behind by the group of girls who used them as a distraction to steal diamonds. Now the cops are chasing Jay and Silent Bob because of what they didn't do. Undeserved misfortune in my life is when my teacher gave me a B because she didn't like me and ruined my straight A's for all of middle school so i wasn't valedictorian. This could maybe be a good silent movie and I could make it very dramatic with the music and special effects.

My Film Job
The film job I like the most is a casting director because I really like working with people. I think I am a very social person that gets along with people easily. I also think I'm very good at knowing what emotions are necessary for different situations. I really feel like I could bring the characters to life by making sure they act with the right emotions at the right times. I've seen a lot of movies and I think I'm pretty good at knowing how to use emotion to really make the film interesting and entertaining for the audience.
Conflict
An example of conflict in a movie is in the movie Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. Harold and Kumar need to get back to the wedding where the love of Kumar's life is getting married, in time for Kumar to stop his love from marrying a douche bag of a guy. Harold and Kumar get stuck in a jail and scape and then have to find their way to the wedding across the U.S. An example of conflict in my life is when my friends where saying things about me to make me look bad and we confronted each other and there was a lot of screaming. Then we got into a physical fight and now we never talk again. This could be a good idea for a film because I could have two good friends that go on an adventure and then one of them back-stabs the other at the end of the movie. Then the friends will have to confront each other to deal with the tension once and for all.

Review of the Elephant Man
The
elephant man was a very unique movie. It made me really have to think critical
to truly understand the deep meaning behind the movie. I love movies that have
more meaning than that of the literal meaning. One thing I did not like about
the movie was that we never really find out what the boy thought. He seemed
loyal to Bytes and also seemed like he wanted to help John Merrick. I wish we
could have found out more about what was going on in his head. It was very
interesting to see the different reactions people had to John Merrick. Some
were disgusted, some were intrigued, some were shocked, and some were
apathetic. I believe this shows the difference between the good and bad people
in the movie. I like how by the end of the movie, someone so hideous is able to
be accepted and treated like he is normal person to everyone. This really helps
me to believe in our society and the good of the people.

My Name is John Merrick
Dear Diary,
today started out as a good day. I really felt like I belonged here and felt like I was loved and accepted. I received a dressing kit from Dr. Trieves and Carr Gomn. This made me really happy. I felt like I looked nice and professional. Then at night, I was abused really bad. The Night Porter came into my room with a whole bunch of drunk strangers that wanted to look at me and make fun of me. One of the guys was very horny and tried eating his lady friend. Then they grabbed me and twirled me around like a doll. They made the disgusting whores kiss me. They covered me in alcohol and made me drink it. Then they finally left and then Bytes came in and touched. He is such a creep because lightly felt my hair. Overall it was a very horrible and dramatizing day.

Welcome To My Nightmare
Fear is something that all people have and must deal with. My biggest
fear in life is probably failure. I'm so scared and paranoid of failing to a
point where I over-think every single step of my life. I'm especially scared at
failing in school. I'm scared that maybe one day I'll give up or I will have
reached my limit. I'm scared I won't be smart enough, skilled enough, and
resourceful enough to achieve my academic goals. This really causes me to
stress myself out and doubt every single thing I do. Maybe in reality, I’m just
scared of the future. As a person, I’m scared of what I don’t know. This is
probably why the future is one of the things that I’m scared of the most.
Gradually, I have started to learn how to just live in the moment and put all
negative thoughts aside. Some of my friends have helped me through this, and
maybe one day, my fear of failing in the future will be completely cured.

My thoughts on Modern Times
I really liked the movie because it was a very funny movie with a lot of very interesting hidden opinions about the life of the people in the 1930s. This movie showed a lot about the time period it was made. It showed how factory workers are like mindless sheep that only know how to work. They work so hard and long that they get sucked into it and become mindless zombies. It also showed how working for so long and tediously makes the workers go crazy because they just can't handle it anymore. It also showed how much Communism was despised at the time because Chaplin was immediately jailed for holding a flag that seemed like a communist flag. Overall, I just really liked how the movie was able to incorporate so many different issues and themes in a funny, yet very suttle way. It is a movie that I would definitely recommend.
Compassionate Science
I believe there is a lot of things that we learn in school that can change the world. All of the math and science that we learn in school can eventually be used for the basis of projects that can help make people's lives easier and more efficient. A lot of students always ask "Why are we learning this?"m or "Who cares?". Yet we need to learn all of this basic information in high school so we can have a strong foundation in math or science, so later on we will have the necessary skills to build something or be part of something truly revolutionary. I don't believe I have what it takes to be a Mike Ebeling. I really do wish I have what it takes to change the world, but I just feel like I'm not enough. That I can never reach the level of intelligence that these kind of people reach in order to be able to be part of something important. That is why all I want to do is get the paycheck, support my family, and have a nice little life. I can't imagine myself being part os something so significant. I feel like I will grow up to be a dad with the same routine every day and I think I'm okay with that.

The Future
The future in about 3000, the skies will probably no longer be blue, because of all the pollution. The streets will probably be flooded with poor people because the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. But for the people that are not poor, the world will be a wonderful place. There is going to be hot girls everywhere because of products that will make people slim and fit. We will probably not even have books and be reading everything through holograms. We will have chairs so we can fly and stuff so we never have to get up. We will probably be really unhealthy because the advancement of technology tends to make people lazy. there will also be constant war because as of right now there is a lot of tension and by 3005, those tensions will have all led to wars. The wars will be so hardcore and there will be nuclear and radioactive energy everywhere that we will all become retarded. Other than the nice little areas for rich people, the rest of the world will be a barren and radioactive wasteland. Poor people will leave in fear and poverty.

The time I laughed really hard
The time I laughed really hard was at a Japanese restaurant with my
friend. The waiter was talking to me and I couldn't understand a single thing
he was saying. I just nodded my head and said ok to everything he said. But as
soon as he turned away I yelled to my friend "What the **** did he
say?" The waiter turned around and clearly understands what I said and he
just gave an annoyed look and continued walking. My friend and me laughed so
hard that we couldn't look at each other without laughing for at least 5
minutes. We just found it so funny from the waiter’s perspective because he was
talking to a customer that he thought understood everything he was saying. And
then he just hears the customer tell his friend that he couldn’t understand
anything. That must have made the waiter feel so offended which my friend and I
just found hilarious.

Bulllying
When I was younger, mostly during elementary school, I was bullied very often. I hated it with a passion, yet for some reason I could not develop hate for any of my classmates that bullied me. This is because I knew the main reason they were bulllying me was because it made them feel more powerful and cool in front of their friends. I was an easy target because I was shy, smart, and middle eastern. It's easier to make fun of the kid who is different because all of them were the same so they had each other to back up one another. I hated being bullied because I felt like the kids didn't really want to hurt me, they were just being immature. But it did. People would constantly call me names and no one would talk to me because they were scared they would be bullied too. This made me have very few friends, and when I did have friends they just used me either to backstab me in the end or for help with homework or something. Eventually I had to toughen up and fight back and start using my words and fists to fight back. People don't mess with a guy that fights back or is aggressive. This was how I solved my bullying problem during early middle school. If i saw someone being bullied now I would definitely help them because I know how it feels to have no one on your side. I wish I would have had someone to help me when I was being bullied. sometimes the girls told the boys to stop but when there were no girls, all the other boys would just stand there and watch. I would definitely step in and stop anyone being bullied. I know the victim of bullying would greatly appreciate having someone to help him out. Plus it's a little easier to do something about it when you're 6 feet tall haha.

My Favorite Film
My favorite film of all time is The Dictator. I found this
movie very funny and the theme behind it was very interesting. It showed how strong the power of love
is because it was able to change a man’s evil ways to find justice and freedom
for all. All it took was one girl to show him the light. He gave up all of his power
and brutality all for one girl. This shows that, believe it or not, the power
of love between two people can sometimes be so strong that it can overcome a
person’s desire for power and wealth. No amount of money can give someone the
feeling you get when you know you are with someone you care about. Even though
they are from two religions that completely hated each other, he didn’t care.
This really represents the modern way of how people in our society should began
to think and act.
